During the design of the registration screens, it was important to balance the technical limitations of maintaining two different OS platforms, providing appropriate experiences on each OS, and to be considerate of future maintenance support. For the registration screens (which were not using native components), inspiration from the setup dialogs were used to provide a seamless flow from setup to registration. Leveraging existing installation and setup components allowed us to provide the user with a native experience. Different teams had certain screens that had special functionality to their area of expertise that needed to be shown to the user and accomodated in each design. As the main User Experience Designer on the project, I was in charge of balancing the asks of each team in the designs of Installation and Setup. After finally removing Parallels from my Mac and committing to the Mac version of CorelDRAW, I now seem to have a list of things that dont work the same way and wondering if anyone has found any way to work around these: 1) Previously when I changed pages, it would maintain the zoom I was on. This project required a lot of interdisciplinary team-work between Documentation, Localization, Setup, Development, Legal, IPM, Ecomm, UX and QA. ![]() ![]() Many different scenarios had to be considered to provide the correct experience to users when downloading from different locations or accounts. An in-depth breakdown of each step of the workflow from initial download to completed registration to first launch was detailed out in a workflow map to ensure that all necessary items were designed for the macOS Installer of CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. With Parallels Desktop, you can run CorelDRAW for Windows on your Mac through a Windows 10 virtual machine.
